Bio

Engr. Ejiroghene May John, a Production Engineering graduate from UNIBEN (2003), holds safety certifications from NISP and NEBOSH (2012). She transitioned from oil and gas and finance to education, joining the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board in 2013, and completed a PGDE in 2014. She holds an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Ed in Mathematics and is registered with NSE and COREN.

Passionate about STEM education, she founded Teach Girls tech Foundation, a non profit supporting women and children in STEM. Recognized for her contributions, she develops technology-based educational tools.

In 2023, she received the TechWomen Fellowship and joined the Society of Women Engineers. She has facilitated major projects and workshops involving digital literacy and workplace upskilling workshops for professionals across various fields. She organizes STEM and digital literacy workshops for students and educators, and even collaborating with the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy SWENext Club and the Genetics and Genomics Club at Basis Independent SV High School respectively
